Land Rover supplies support vehicles for Rugby World Cup 2015
Land Rover will provide 450 support vehicles for next months Rugby World Cup 2015.
Around 80% of the support fleet will be Discovery Sport models [pictured], with the standard Discovery, Range Rover Sport, and regular Range Rover making up the remainder of the support fleet.
The specially liveried vehicles will transport teams, officials, organisers and VIPs across 13 stadiums and 41 bases used by the 20 international teams taking part in the tournament.
The vehicles are expected to cover around 650,000 miles during the 44-day competition; thats enough to drive around the world 26 times.

But whats that bizarre structure next to the Disco Sport? you ask. Well, to mark the vehicles being handed over, all 450 key fobs were suspended in the shape of a rugby ball. Naturally.
Jon Wackett, General Manager for Fleet and Business at Land Rover UK, said: We are proud and excited to be supporting Rugby World Cup 2015 as the tournament returns to the UK.
Discovery Sport is the perfect vehicle to lead the fleet as its compact dimensions, flexible 5+2 seating and advanced connectivity features provide versatility and capability in equal measure.
That 5+2 seating arrangement means that all 920 players and 1,100 team staff involved could in theory be moved about with just 289 Discovery Sport models.
The Rugby World Cup 2015 kicks off on Friday 18 September with the final on Saturday 31 October at Twickenham.
