It�s that time of year again! The NFL season is starting and we are starting our road to Super Bowl 50. The first game is the defending NFL champions,the New England Patriots versus the AFC powerhouse, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Everyone is excited not only for this amazing match up but the new season where they can all gather to watch their favorite team and their season unfold.

Everyone here at Hamilton is excited for the new season as well. Knowing this school is a football school there are many fans of the NFL. There is a diversity of fans throughout the school including fans of the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, and even the San Diego Chargers. Kehwon Watts (10) , fan of the Chicago Bears, thinks his team �Will do really good. I think they will even beat the Green Bay Packers�. I don�t know if his predictions will go his way, but I guess we will see.

In the game between the Patriots and the Steelers, both teams took a huge blow. The Patriots may be without star quarterback Tom Brady after being suspended in the deflate gate incident. The Steelers also took a huge blow after they lost their starting running back, Le�veon Bell, who helps run their offense with Ben Roethlisberger. Kyle Ward (9) thinks that �The New England Patriots will win if they get Brady back, but if they don�t then I pick the Steelers.� So this game is up for grabs and would be a big help to start the season with a win.

Also with a new season starting, there are many stars who will be trying to get the MVP award. There are many candidates who are already being discussed for this prize. People like Andrew Luck, the quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts, last years MVP Aaron Rodgers who is the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, and Adrian Peterson, running back of the Minnesota Vikings who was suspended last year for the entire season for a scandal involving abusing his child. Josiah Lindquist (9) threw in his two cents, saying,�Russell Wilson will get it because of his new target Jimmy Graham will give him many touchdown passes �.

But the NFL season all leads to Super Bowl 50. There are many contenders for this years big game. From the Seattle Seahawks returning to the Indianapolis Colts, there are many possibilities of what could happen. Eric Vanzandt (9) thinks �It will be the New England Patriots and the Packers.�

Although what will happen can�t be determined, the NFL season this year should be exciting. Everyone is just glad that the long wait is over. Sitting back to relax and watch the teams play is no longer just a dream. With this new NFL season awaking, the whole country will be able to watch the American sport. Now let�s play some football!
